Marketing and Communications Coordinator

You'll be working with some of the best designers and for the most outstanding clients; across Canada and across North America. figure3 is seeking a Marketing and Communications Coordinator Reporting to our Director, Marketing and Communications, supporting figure3’s marketing and communications strategy, you will be engaged in the development and implementation of a wide range of marketing and communications initiatives.

Duties

  • Assist in the development and execution of local, national and international marketing and communications campaigns
  • Collaborate with internal colleagues to identify and develop ideas consistent with the strategy and voice of figure3, and appealing to various audiences
  • Draft original and engaging communications materials such as press releases, articles, project case studies, award submissions, website and social media content
  • Play a key role working with top media across North America to secure favourable coverage for the company by way of compelling media pitches
  • Assist in managing figure3’s social media activity across all platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, etc.); community monitoring and reporting; and frequent posting
  • Assist in managing figure3’s website, including updating and publishing content on a consistent basis
  • Coordinate figure3’s participation in events such as industry award programs, trade shows and conferences, and various speaking engagements
  • Coordinate project video / photo shoots
  • Monitor industry news across all media platforms and identify items worthy of response
  • Support content development for business proposals and client presentations
  • Work with external marketing and branding agencies
  • Keep employees ‘in-the-know’ on figure3’s marketing/communications initiatives / activities

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary degree/diploma in marketing, communications or other relevant discipline
  • 2 – 3 years relevant experience, ideally within the creative industry or design/build industry
  • Superior creative writing skills and excellent verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, ability to multi-task and deliver to deadlines
  • Good understanding of the media landscape including strong social media fluency
  • Great relationship management skills
