The inaugural IDC Impact Breakfast celebrates the significant contributions of Canadian interior designers and the influence their legacy continues to have on the interior design community. Impact Breakfast honourees are carefully selected by IDC’s nominations committee.
On November 30th, members of the Toronto design community gathered to celebrate this year’s honourees, two of Figure3’s co-founders Allan Guinan and Caroline Hughes. They accepted this award and sat down with Deborah Wang, Artistic Director at DesignTO, who interviewed them in a live conversation on stage.
From early on, the firm championed an approach that seeks to understand the people we are designing for before rushing to design solutions, a philosophy that is carried forward today by the current partnership.
