Legacy

Our client, Empire, believes in creating a sophisticated buying experience for every development and set us the challenge of meeting their high expectations in Thorold, Ontario.

We wanted to introduce a retail-style sales approach for this suburban sales centre in order to elevate the home buying experience, differentiate the development from neighbouring sites and provide sales associates with a location ahead of completing the model homes.

Seamlessly blending all our influences

We developed four palettes for buyers to choose from. They included Scandinavian Simple, Industrial Farmhouse, French Country and Transitional. For the sales centre, we referenced all four looks in varying degrees while staying focused on creating a cohesive whole.

Lighting hints at the industrial farmhouse look, seating options reference the transitional look, the clean lines of the pure white kitchen speak to the Scandinavian palette and the wide plank white hardwood floors are pulled from the French country palette. Strong architectural detailing elevates the buying experience, lending the space a decidedly “retail” look and feel, while subtly reinforcing the credibility and trustworthiness of the developer. Their signature orange brand colour was introduced through both the environmental graphic branding and through strategic use of accessories. This approach allows the product to shine all while telegraphing to buyers that they’re purchasing from a trusted and respected homebuilder.
