Phoenix

Tucked away in the quiet Mystic Pointe community near downtown Toronto, Phoenix is designed for modern residents looking to enhance their luxurious lifestyle at home. With amenity spaces such as an intimate cocktail lounge, spa room, fitness centre, rain shower room, outdoor pool, and BBQ stations, residents and guests will have no shortage of options to enjoy the good life.

Condo residents and guests will be welcomed through a central courtyard, leading to a reception area with 14ft ceilings designed to feel like a hotel lobby. The space features artisan finishes with a combination of raw and refined materials. The front desk is made of split face stone, with a polished marble surround and an antiqued brass lattice screen behind to divide the reception area from the lobby lounge.

A skylight surrounded in wooden slats creates a ceiling feature that diffuses the light and wooden sphere sculptures lit from the inside are used to bring dramatic bursts of light to the space.

The lobby lounge conveys a timeless well-traveled feel, a comfortable yet sophisticated mix of old and new. Different seating zones were created to be welcoming and to encourage social activity. The furniture stylings such as the plush sofas and Persian rugs are eclectic, like a collection of pieces acquired over time that bring character. The lighting is moody, with the room’s sculptural dropped canopy placed to highlight the room. The living space features artistic undertones with high contrast, with a mid-century modern feel exhibited by the furnishings, pottery lamp finishes and geometric wall art. Rich jewel tones such as emerald green, burnished amber and brass are colorful and inviting, with the wood tones adding warmth, and plantings bringing life to the space.

Perfect for communal gatherings, the zone features an exquisite kitchen, cocktail lounge, games room, and private dining room that together form a lively, cohesive hub for easy social interaction. Custom millwork adds a personalized touch, while expansive countertops, complete with waterfall edge, elevate the design. Step outside the lounge onto an extensive rooftop terrace with multiple seating areas and BBQs, providing a refreshing extension of the indoor space.
