Inspired by the Versace brand’s iconic craftsmanship and its nods to Greek and Roman motifs, the design narrative infuses these elements with a modern sensibility.
A deep and narrow lobby on Jarvis Street is designed to create a grand, double-height entry with a striking custom chandelier that introduces a softness to the hard materials; a dynamic form evoking a sense of movement. From the bold statement of empire-style chairs in the lobby—celebrated as a sculptural focal point—to the intricate mosaic tile inlays reminiscent of Versace stores, every detail was curated to evoke elegance and exclusivity. The tactile richness continues with the lobby’s marble surfaces, gold accents, and bespoke furniture featuring leather and metal pairings—a nod to Versace’s unique approach to materiality.
Prime Condos’ coworking space elevates the concept of functional design, blending luxurious finishes with the practical needs of residents. Designed to double as a social venue after hours, the space features gold touches, moody lighting, and custom furnishings, offering versatility without sacrificing sophistication.
The fitness center further exemplifies the commitment to luxury, a rarity in most high-rise developments. Matte black details and equipment with cognac leather mirror the meticulous attention to finishes seen throughout the project. Stone-clad columns, stitched leather accents, and mirrored walls combine for an experience that feels both exclusive and inspiring.
The outdoor terrace extends this ethos, balancing design and functionality, designed in collaboration with the landscape architect. With curated furniture and seamless integration into the overall aesthetic, it serves as a serene retreat amidst the city’s bustle.
Art and fashion are interwoven into the design story, with a custom sculpture at the end of the elevator hallway serving as a showstopping centerpiece. Designed by Figure3, the piece references Versace’s iconic pleated leather skirt, highlighting the brand’s legacy of pairing unexpected materials.
